Faroe Woodworks provides thoughtful, local and boutique solutions for all renovation and finish carpentry. We're trained carpenters with a passion for renovating old homes in downtown Toronto. Our service is how we hope to be defined - providing value through trust, honesty, clear communication and decision-making. The multitude of skills needed for a successful remodel reach far beyond the tricky transition details or the counter layout; they involve detailed work scopes, transparent estimates and creative project management. This attention to detail is why and how we specialize in small to mid-size renovations and restorations in old Toronto homes.
Background
Patrick has spent over 15 years in the trade working in a custom fabrication shop creating mixed media wood mounts, renovating energy efficient houses and condominium apartments, and building high end windows and doors out of Western Red Cedar as a carpenter/joiner in a large wood shop. In his early thirties Patrick graduated from George Brown College with a Building Renovation Technician diploma where he studied and mentored under talented Red Seal carpenters. Patrick also continuously trains, manages and mentors younger employees and encourages them to pursue a career in the carpentry trade. Patrick's grandfather (Papa) was a master carpenter for his entire life, and through their bond, Patrick's passion for the trade grew.
In addition to being a carpenter, Patrick is a musician and has played in several bands over the last 20 years with his twin brother Kevin. They both live in the east end of Toronto and have a band called East of the Valley Blues. In his free time Patrick loves spending time in the beaches with his partner, Madeleine, who practices locally as a Naturopathic Doctor.
During his early 20's Patrick also completed an undergraduate degree in film studies at Western University and loves watching slow moving films, documentaries and the Twin Peaks series.
